Arab Film Fest Tulsa
Tulsa’s Arab Film Festival is back for a second year of film screenings and cinematic events. The festival, organized by Tulsa Artist Fellow Moheb Soliman in partnership with Mizna and the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, will be hosted by Tulsa’s nonprofit theater, Circle Cinema.
The festival will kick off on November 3rd at 7pm with Memory Box, the Lebanese Oscar entry, which follows three women whose lives become intertwined by a mysterious box of notebooks, tapes, and photos. After the screening, audience members are invited to join for the opening reception with food and music.
The festival will run through Sunday, November 6th, showing films from Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, and Afghanistan and Somalia. Entry to all films is $30.00 with the All-Access Festival Pass.
You can find a full list of the films on the Circle Cinema’s website.
